Now authorized to handle CUI data, Pryzm is setting the standard for faster, smarter defense procurement—beginning with budget management.
Arlington, VA – October 23, 2025 – Pryzm, the AI operating system for federal procurement and capture, has achieved Impact Level 5 (IL5) Authority to Operate (ATO) from the U.S. Department of War (DoW). This authorization, enabled through Pryzm’s deployment on Second Front’s (2F) Game Warden platform, allows DoW users to aggregate financial, contractual, and programmatic information up to IL5 for procurement and program management. 2F Game Warden enables faster, more secure delivery of mission-critical software to government end-users by streamlining software authorization and deployment to government networks.
Already, one government team reports a 90% reduction in time spent on weekly budget management and reporting—demonstrating how Pryzm is transforming the defense acquisition experience by putting streamlined budget reporting, planning, and execution at the center of AI-enabled technology transition workflows.
"Our mission has always been to speed the fielding of critical technology," said Matthew Hawkins, Co-Founder and Head of Federal Programs at Pryzm. "That starts with budget intelligence. Right now, updating even a single budget line can take hours or days, with teams manually pulling data from dozens of sources. With IL5, Pryzm automates that work, giving agencies a clear view of every defense dollar so they can focus on the broader mission at hand. This is just the first step—laying the foundation for accelerating the entire acquisition lifecycle, end to end."
“Pryzm is delivering the kind of capability defense leaders have been asking for—actionable budget intelligence that helps them make faster, smarter decisions with every dollar,” said Mamie Cruse, Chief Mission Officer at Second Front. “Through 2F Game Warden, we’re proud to help make that possible by enabling Pryzm to operate securely at IL5. It captures exactly what we aim to do—bridge the gap between innovation and the operators driving real-world missions.”
Enabling the “Digital Thread of Every Defense Dollar”
IL5 accreditation unlocks new, critical workflows for handling sensitive federal data. For example, authorized government users can now integrate non-public, current-year operating data with Pryzm's existing budget analysis workflows derived from public sources—all in a single portal. From top-level congressional appropriations down to the most granular contract line item, teams gain full visibility into every program dollar under their control. The result: a unified view of spend that empowers key stakeholders to:
- Understand obligation and expense rates on capability investments across an innovation portfolio;
- Control visibility and track reviewer activity at any level of budget reporting;
- Generate instant analytical dashboards and exportable reports; and
- Maintain a single, authoritative source of budget truth to forecast and model future spend.
FY26 and Beyond
These capabilities come at a pivotal moment, as the National Security ecosystem faces growing pressure to deliver against expanding defense budgets and accelerated program timelines.
Looking ahead to FY26, rapid budget intelligence will become the rule for stakeholders across the defense enterprise—from resource managers and contracting officers to legislative affairs staff and oversight bodies. Pryzm is designed to support this transition and is available as part of a broader suite of off-the-shelf Technology Transition tooling for both government and commercial users.
Authorized users of Pryzm’s Government platform can activate their IL5-compliant workflows immediately. Government organizations interested in exploring Pryzm can reach out to federal@pryzm.io.
